USAID Closure and Tenants Potential Loss of Funding

On Monday morning, reporting from multiple media outlets indicates that the Trump administration is planning to close the United States Agency for International Development, also known as USAID, a federal agency responsible facilitating foreign aid and development programs. TRA is alerting clients who may have tenants that are partially or exclusively reliant on funding from programs originating from USAID.

If you would like to know if any of your tenants could be impacted, you can search tenant names at https://www.usaspending.gov/search and enter the entity’s name in the field labeled “Recipient” and click submit. Contract and grant award information will be populated once you hit submit and you can determine if there are any USAID contracts that could impact your tenant.
